Do you drive weddings in Niagara-on-the-Lake as well as Niagara Falls?
Yes, and the two together are the common pattern: a ceremony at a winery or chapel in Niagara-on-the-Lake and a reception nearer the falls. That drive is twenty to thirty minutes and is the leg most likely to run late, so we plan it explicitly rather than assuming it.
Can you bring the wedding party down from Toronto?
Yes, and the Sprinter is usually the right vehicle for it. Thirteen people with dresses and bags in one vehicle is calmer and cheaper than three cars trying to stay together on the QEW.
How long is the drive from Toronto to Niagara Falls?
About ninety minutes on a clear run, roughly 130 km down the QEW. On a summer Friday afternoon, which is when most wedding parties travel, expect meaningfully longer and plan for it.
Is a Niagara wedding priced differently from a Toronto one?
If the booking starts in the GTA, yes. Trips beyond 100 km are quoted on a distance basis rather than an hourly one. A booking that starts and stays in Niagara is quoted as a normal hourly wedding booking. We tell you which applies when we quote.
Is there a surcharge for a summer Saturday?
No. There is no peak-season surcharge between May and September, no weekend surcharge and no holiday surcharge, which covers essentially the whole Niagara wedding season.
Can you shuttle guests between the Fallsview hotels and the reception?
Yes, and for a Niagara wedding it is worth budgeting for. Guests are staying in hotels rather than driving home, and the end of the night is where that becomes obvious.
Where can the car actually stop for photographs near the falls?
Fewer places than the photographer may hope. The parkway and park have controlled access and heavy pedestrian traffic in season. Your chauffeur will know the workable stopping points, and it is worth asking before the shot list is finalised.
Should the party travel down the night before?
If the budget allows one extra thing, this is the thing. A summer Friday on the QEW is the least predictable part of a Niagara wedding, and travelling the night before removes it entirely.
How many hours should we book?
A local Niagara wedding usually works in four to six. A day that starts in the GTA needs considerably more, because the travel is part of the booking rather than around it.
Do you cover Legends on the Niagara and the golf venues?
Yes. The river and golf venues are part of the same service area, and access there is simpler than the Fallsview cluster.
What happens if the QEW is backed up on the day?
It is the risk we plan around rather than react to. For a wedding starting in the GTA we build the buffer into the departure time and agree it with you at booking, rather than discovering it on the morning.
How far ahead should we book a Niagara wedding car?
As early as the date is set, particularly for a summer Saturday. Niagara is a dense wedding market and the Sprinter is the vehicle that runs out first, because so many parties need one.
