What is as-directed hourly chauffeur service?
You book the car and chauffeur for a block of hours rather than for a single trip. Within that block you direct the day: the chauffeur waits between stops, your belongings stay in the vehicle, and nothing is re-booked between locations.
What is the minimum booking?
It depends on the vehicle. Most of the fleet has a three-hour minimum and the Rolls-Royce is four. We will tell you the minimum for the car you want when we quote.
Do you pick up in Oak Ridges and Bayview Hill?
Yes, across the whole city. Oak Ridges is the most spread out part of Richmond Hill, so for a day starting there we allow more time between stops than the distances suggest.
Can the booking run into Toronto or Markham?
Yes, and most of ours do. An hourly booking is not restricted to Richmond Hill; it simply holds the car for your block of time wherever the day goes within the GTA.
Is there a surcharge for an evening or a weekend?
No. There is no evening, late-night, weekend, holiday or peak-season surcharge. The rate is the same whenever you book it.
What if the day runs longer than we booked?
We extend the existing booking at the rate already agreed rather than starting a new one. Tell the chauffeur as soon as you know, so they can hold the time.
Does the chauffeur wait with the car between stops?
Yes. That is the point of hourly. Coats, bags and shopping stay in the vehicle and the car is outside when you finish rather than being summoned.
Can we finish an hourly booking at Pearson?
Yes, and it is a common way to end a business day. The airport leg runs as part of the same booking rather than being arranged separately at the end of a long day.
Is hourly better value than booking each trip separately?
For three or more stops in a day, usually yes, and it is certainly less to manage. For a single journey, a point-to-point transfer is the better structure and we will say so.
Can you take a group of ten out for the evening?
Yes. The thirteen-passenger Sprinter keeps a group together, which for an evening out beats coordinating three cars and three sets of arrival times.
Do you serve the Richmond Hill Centre for the Performing Arts?
Yes, and evening performances are one of our regular hourly bookings here. Being collected at the door afterwards is most of the reason people book it.
How far ahead should we book?
A day or two is comfortable. For a Saturday evening, or for a specific vehicle like the Rolls-Royce, book earlier, since those go first.
