Oakville is the point on the lakeshore where an airport run stops being a short hop. From Bronte or Glen Abbey you are looking at a genuine journey to Pearson, and the difference between the QEW and the 407 on a weekday morning can be twenty minutes that you either have or do not.

Typically 30 to 45 minutes outside peak hours, depending on where you start. The Clearview side toward Mississauga is the shorter end; Bronte and the west are the longer. Weekday mornings on the QEW need a larger allowance than the off-peak figure.
